Is a CBCT Unit right for me?

We've put together a quick guide to help you decide whether investing into a CBCT unit is right for you.

Think about the following:

1. Do you have room or can you create a room for a CBCT unit?

You need at least a 1.5m2 square room with a 2.3m ceiling height and space in that room for a PC and monitor.

2. What is your dentistry specialisation?

Do you do implants, endontics, Orthodontics, Oral or maxillofacial surgery for example.

3. What functions of a CBCT unit would enhance your dentistry specialisation?

Think about 2D imaging, 3D imaging, 4D Jaw motion, ultra low dose, the maximum volume size in a single scan, cephalometric scanning

4. Are you in a position to look at a long term investment?

You're more than likely to make this purchase on finance and probably looking at commitment of 3, 5 or even 7 years. You may also be able to make this investment pay for itself by taking on 3D scanning referrals from other Practices for example.

5. Do you want to be able to offer your patients a 'one stop shop'?

Times are changing and time is precious. Patients are looking to save time. Broadening your services and carrying out a scan and treatment in one visit will appeal to patients and 'word of mouth' will soon have

more patients knocking at your door. Going into digital dentistry is the future.

Plandemo is a hands on approach to choosing the right CBCT unit for you. We can bring Plandemo to your Practice and the CBCT unit experts can take a live CBCT of a

patient and talk through your needs and help match the right CBCT unit to you.

AG Dental can carry out a free site survey to inspect the room and provide the costings to get the room ready for your new CBCT unit. We have also partnered up Abacus Professions Finance who can help arrange your finance repayments.
